Background
Our Client was a medium sized product provider and was obliged to undertake the industry-wide pension review. Due to a lack of internal resources that could be re-deployed on such a major project our Client decided to utilise outside providers.
PMC Response
We provided the entire administration (non-actuarial) resource for the review and also took on a joint project manager role, working alongside the external pension review actuary. The project managers were responsible for the day to day management of this substantial project and also acted in a consultancy role, advising senior management on the review.
